Monkey Coffee

Well, it was bound to happen: after DAYS of wonderful sunshine, it is rainy here in Vermont! Altho, the sun has come out a little and it appears to be drying up already.

It is a 2 (or 3?) coffee day!

Roast

Here's a collection of beans that popped out of the dog bowl while I was roasting outside the other day~ shows the progression nicely, and there were a few peaberries in there too.

For anyone who wants to try roasting yourself, the heat gun/dog bowl method is really fun and inexpensive and you really get to experience the roast stages up close and personal. I highly recommend it!

Spring Cappuccino!

It's a beautiful morning for a cappy. The sun is shining again, and it is so nice out that I must roast outside later! ENJOY!

Double Latte, to go!

A nice little spring "tulip" in the cup, made double via the mirror! This one was so tasty I did have to go make another!

Spring is in the air!

Finally warmer weather is here and it feels REALLY good!
Drinking a real smooth and creamy 50/50 blend of Ethiopian Harrar and Brazil Mogiana Decaf beans....nice body and a lingering chocolatey mouthfeel. A great way to start Saturday morning! Looking forward to getting outside to roast more bigger batches of beans!
