Las Vegas may be home to more slot machines than one could ever IMAGINE but it sure isn't home to great coffee, as far as is easily evident, anyway.
Oh, sure, you can grab a Starbucks (altho even they are more sparse than I expected) or a "latte" from Seattle's Best, etc, etc...the usual push-button mediocrity and expect to pay five bucks for it. But I didn't see any real espresso or a real espresso machine the entire time I was there! OK, I admit it: I did NOT frequent "real", good restaurants-----there MUST be some good espresso there somewhere...
But for coffee in Vegas your best bet is: complimentary coffee! Yep. Order it while you are playing the slots! Hotel coffee is a REAL gamble in Vegas! Those "one cup" pod machines found in virtually every hotel room now are USELESS. YUCK!
If Lady Luck is really shining upon you, you will find fresh brewed coffee available in your hotel lobby: our Hampton Inn had the best cup of Joe in Vegas! Twenty four hours a day, with real cream, too; not so in the pricier hotels. It's sorta like hitting the jackpot on a penny machine!
Loved the line, "Sorta like hitting the jackpot on a penny machine."
