Cooler weather=perfect time to settle down with a nice, warm cup of coffee! Why not try for BEST? I have recently gotten such positive feedback from people who are trying some of my suggestions that I thought I should post about it:
TRY a SIMPLE and EASY QUICK approach: manual pourover! ALLthis means is BOIL fresh, filtered water, grind fairly course (perhaps start with a tad courser than for drip, then vary according to taste), pour the water over the grinds that you have put into a filter (there are several cheap options here!), stir, wait 2-4 minutes and VOILA!!!! Most people find that this simple, affordable, and quick method results in a BETTER tasting cup of coffee! The best part is: you can vary all the factors to your taste~especially fooling around with the amount and courseness of the grind will result in very different flavors........
And remember: FRESH BEANS are CRUCIAL to getting the best flavors!
If you are stashing away your coffee in the freezer for a few weeks you are NOT experiencing the best of what these beans have to offer! If you MUST freeze: try packaging in small ziplock/airtight baggies and only take out what you will use that day! Try to avoid putting beans in and out of the fridge/freezer because moisture KILLS them!
So, enjoy your coffee and remember to email me with your stories!
